What’s changed?

Our first 'Trakwell.ai' release is focused on underlying infrastructure improvements and lays the groundwork for continual improvement and data management.

This release has a focus on state-of-the-art security and improved performance. The product is now running on highly available, automatically scaling, fully redundant systems using state-of-the-art Oracle Cloud Infrastructure based on Center for Internet Security (CIS) vetted reference arch.

Over the past year, we have invested over 10,000 engineering hours into redeveloping the underlying infrastructure that powers Trakwell.ai. This lays the foundation for the future of the application, ensuring scalability, reliability, and a seamless user experience as well as customizable reporting and connectivity to data aggregators.

New Release Schedule

  • Starting with Trakwell.ai version 23.4, we are adopting a quarterly release schedule. Each release will follow the format "year.quarter," with the next release, version 24.1, scheduled for January 2024. This new release cadence allows us to deliver more frequent updates and improvements to our users.

  • Minor releases will now happen on a quarterly basis partially informed by suggestions that are made in our customer portal, and communicated through a public roadmap.

Performance

  • You will immediately recognize improved performance across the majority of the product.

  • We have invested significant effort into optimizing the performance of Trakwell.ai. All reports and APIs have been fine-tuned to deliver faster response times and improved overall performance. This optimization ensures that you can work more efficiently and effectively with your data.

Floorboard

  • Upgrade to AI is available and now ready for deployment! You can now request to switch from motion detection technology to human detection.

  • Improved performance.

AI-Driven Person Detection

  • Trakwell.ai introduces a groundbreaking feature: AI-driven person detection.

  • This innovation significantly enhances the accuracy and precision of counts by reducing false detections caused by ghosts and shadows.

Reporting

  • Reports have been improved with rewritten with performance-enhanced queries.

  • New reporting behavior - For better performance, data does not preload with the screen, you must select date and press go to generate report.

  • While all reports are being reengineered for improved performance, please note that not all will be available on the release day. We will announce the updated publication dates as each report becomes available.

  • For compliance and security reasons, some Public Reports have been removed from the product. We will be adding a personalized filter option allowing each user to save their custom reports.

  • These reports will be released in coming sprints:

    • Executive view

    • Add Ons

    • No Sale Reason

    • No Sale Stage

    • Missing tabs in Revenue per Opportunity

    • Reassign Reason

    • Reject Reason

    • Time with Customers

  • The remaining reports and some missing drill down tabs for sales staff rank and monthly comparison, will be released in the coming sprints (2-week increments).

CRM

  • In this release, we have completely rewritten the Contact Manager and Floorboard modules from the ground up. These improvements provide a smoother and more efficient experience for managing contacts and sales opportunities within Trakwell.ai.

  • Refactored advanced search interface. There is now a drop down called Search Criteria located on the left hand side. Note - You do not have to click on every APPLY button, one will initiate the search.

  • Improved speed and accuracy of search.

  • Customer Phone Numbers (i.e., Phone Number 1, Phone Number 2) will now be a single field separated by commas, not two separate fields.

  • The Import/Export button is now only Import. The Export function is a separate button to the left.

  • For compliance and security reasons, Public Reports have been removed from the product. We will be adding a personalized filter option allowing each user to save their custom reports.

  • The CRM search results are now paginated with a limited number of results per page. See the bottom left of the CRM for the choice of pages.

  • The date ranges to select from are:

    • N/A: Date is ignored in search criteria

    • Action: The from and to date inclusive is utilized for the Scheduled Action Search

    • Visit: To search by a date range that the customer visited

Security

  • Trakwell.ai is built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Landing Zone, ensuring that our platform meets the high-security standards of the CIS Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Benchmark. We prioritize the security and privacy of your data.

API

  • Infrastructure changes made to API's in this release will lay the groundwork for OpenAPIv3.0 support.

  • You will see at least a 50% improvement in the speed of the API.

  • For this infrastructure change, we have put forth a large effort to provide a path to uninterrupted API service with the customer's current configuration. This, however, will require customers to be able to handle 3XX response codes in their clients.

  • All current versions of the APIs are supported. Where appropriate, previous versions will be deprecated with abundant notice.

Bug Fixes

  • Canadian phone number validation fix. Previously when entering a Canadian number, customers were given the error: un-callable error.

  • Email validation error. Some customers were unable to validate customer email addresses in order to send. This has been resolved.

  • The Import/Export button is now only Import. The Export function is a separate button.

  • Many performance and stability improvements in the core product.

  • Limited customer profile view. Now salespeople will see full prospect history regardless of who worked with the customer.
